Description
Chopard is a watchmaker with an unexpected amount of autoracing heritage. The brand has long featured a line called the Mille Miglia. This line is named after the Italian open-road endurance race from Brescia to Rome and back that covers 1000 miles. This GTS power control is a more updated take on the line, featuring lots of automotive inspired design language. The watch has a black colored bezel and a bright red dial that really stands out. Around the date window next to 3 o’clock, is a box that reads “1000 Miglia”–a tribute to the historic race. Next to 6 o’clock, there is a power reserve indicator modeled after a fuel gauge in a racecar. Additionally, the watch is featured on a black rubber strap with a very cool tire tread pattern.
