Description
Porsche Design has a storied past creating watches for the automotive enthusiast. The first watch ever created by Porsche Design was made back in 1972. The watch was designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the same man who created the first Porsche 911. The watch was a completely blacked out integrated bracelet chronograph watch very similar to this example. This watch is featured in a stainless steel case that was PVD coated in a matte black color. The bracelet is made of rolled steel links that are also treated with the same black color. The hour markers and hands feature patinated luminous paint and the second hand is a bright racing orange color. This Porsche Design Chronograph honors the car brand’s racing heritage with the chronograph function which is perfect for timing laps.
