Starting with the glaringly obvious, the Golden Square’s dial is a beauty to behold, Made from mother-of-pearl and overlain with black Roman numeral indices, the dial sheens and reflects with a brilliance that must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Encircling (is that the right word? The square case shape has us second-guessing our normally well-rounded vocabulary!) the dial is adorned with diamonds that serve to catch the eye even more. All this is framed by a premium perforated black leather strap that at 36mm is more cuff than strap. The reverse side features the automatic movement, visible through the caseback. Finally, the watchcase is built from 18kt gold, giving it both weight and elegance.
