The Superocean Heritage, introduced in 2007 to commemorate Breitling’s 50th anniversary, has seen several iterations. This unique blue-black combo has since been discontinued making it a special find. What makes this watch special is not only its serious profile – you have to heft it to believe it – but the unique black aluminum insert and subdials that contrast conspicuously against the sheening blue dial. The stainless steel mesh bracelet clasps securely and its double thickness, adds to the timepiece’s silhouette. One of the Superocean Heritage’s best features is the stainless steel bezel and its robust, satisfying feedback that will make you think you’ve begun ratcheting in the sails.
This piece is in very good pre-owned condition, showing a small scratch at 5 o’clock on the insert. There is a small indentation on the top-right lug and microscratches on the stainless steel case.
