Description
A new brand with just 18 years under their belt, Bremont has successfully made some stunning watches over the years. The Solo is no exception to this rule, paying tribute to founders Nathan and Giles English’s passion for flying. Beneath the domed sapphire crystal (coated with an anti-reflective treatment) sits the razor-sharp dial which is uncluttered, and high in contrast. Set against a flat black face, it features bright white lumed numerals and red accents at the 12 o’clock position and on the end of the sweeping seconds hand. Hidden under this clean dial is a modified ETA 2836 movement, labeled as BE-36AE by Bremont with a 36 hour power reserve. Each timepiece is individually numbered which sets it apart, as does one more unique feature – around the case runs an engraved ring whose black PVD treatment contrasts nicely against the otherwise silver steel case.
