From its solid build to its polar-white dial, this watch is ready for adventure. Different from other Aquaracers, this 2017 edition is updated with a steel bezel and a brilliant high-contrast colorway. Housed in a sturdy 43mm stainless steel case, the Aquaracer lives up to its name and is survivable up to 300m. The symmetry and satisfying response from the unidirectional bezel will leave you idly (but certainly not accidentally) turning the bezel just to hear that satisfying tick. An inspection of the white opaline dial reveals horizontal streaks normally only found on the Aquaracer’s ceramic lineup and the applied bar indices provide high-visibility readings even at a glance. Completing the look is the bright orange sweeping second hand. Behind the standard Aquaracer caseback, engraved with a diver’s helmet, sits a Sellita Calibre 5 automatic movement with a 38 hour power reserve.
