The Malte name has been applied to many iterations and styles of Vacheron Constantin watches but this version is one of the most beautiful. The skeletonized architecture of the retrograde module is marvelous in the truest sense of the word. The way light plays on this watch is really something special. The platinum case with stepped lugs gives this 37mm watch amazing wrist presence. The rounded stick hands are simple yet beautiful. This Malte features a retrograde date as well as a day subdial above 6 o’clock. All of the components visible on the dial side are a treat to watch in action including the centerwheel engraved with a maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin’s hallmark.
