Description
We see a lot of watches at Feldmar (how’s that for understatement?) but every now and then, a watch comes along that still manages to wow us. Enter the GP Laureato Skeleton. Comprised of 173 individual parts each meticulously arranged, the resulting aesthetic is mesmerizing to behold as one gazes down at the anthracite-treated elements composing the skeletonized watchface. It’s simultaneously elegant and rugged – a watch that means business yet is still a work of art. The Girard-Perregaux GP01800 movement beats at 28,800 vph sending the luminous hands spinning silently and smoothly around the dial, indicating the time via the hour indices. Camouflage between the 9 and 10 o’clock position is a small-seconds indicator. Held inside GP’s signature octagonal case, the stainless steel structure has a fine brushed finish that adds to the overall utilitarian aesthetic. And with an integrated bracelet, the Laureato Skeleton is sporty. We can’t help but stare at this one! Come check it our for yourself.
