Description
One of our favorite dials of the past few years is certainly Glashutte Original’s Pano design. These oversized dials feature an off-center hour-minute complication with a small-seconds readout beneath. The leftover space on the dial’s right side is then reserved for all manner of various complications from moonphases to – as seen here – power reserve indicators. With a bold-styled needle swinging left and right, it is always easy to tell just how much juice is left in the tank. And with 42 hours of power reserve in the in-house Caliber 65-01 movement, this is a watch that can be set down and picked up again with little regard for the watch winding down. And speaking of winding, the manual-winding Caliber 65-01 movement is one of only a handful of high-end, in-house, hand-winding mechanisms available at this price point. No matter how you slice it, the PanoReserve from GO is history and innovation packaged together. The world-class styling is just the beginning of this amazing watch’s story.
