Few watchmakers can rival Seiko’s 14-decade pedigree and even fewer can point to such storied success in the arena of dive watch design and manufacture.
In honor of this, Seiko’s “Island Green” series of watches returns to the primordial island of Iriomote, located off the coast of Japan’s Okinawa Island. With dense, lush jungles feeding vibrant coral reefs, Iriomote is a Mecca for divers seeking some of the world’s most pristine diving locations. Paired with morning light spreading down from the treetops to the coast, Seiko has found inspiration for the mesmerizing green dials in its latest release.
Featuring Seiko’s new “Sharp Edge” case design, featured on 2020’s SPB185 and SPB187, the Propex SPB207 has a sporty look to its 42mm build. Manufacturing just 6,000 pieces, the SPB207 is sure to be highly sought after along with its “Island Green” brethren, the SLA047 and SSC807.
