Description
As if the Tudor Black Bay didn’t have enough broad appeal, the fact that it is available in four different sizes makes it unique among Swiss watches. The original Black Bay, introduced in 2012, sized in at 41mm while the 36mm Heritage version was announced four years later. Then, in 2018, Tudor debuted the red-hot Black Bay Fifty-Eight, measuring 39mm as well as a 32mm lady’s version of the Black Bay Heritage. With the catalog complete (for now), there truly is a Black Bay for every wrist.
A rounded, fixed bezel sets the Black Bay 32mm apart from its 41mm progentator which famously features a dive timer that turns with a satisfying click. Thanks to this smooth bezel look, the 32mm version is clean, svelte, and subtle. Sacrificing nothing in terms of quality, it features a modified version of the renowned ETA 2824 movement, offering a 38-hour power reserve. Like others in the line, it features white indices on either a black or blue dial and Tudor’s signature snowflake hands that make time-telling a breeze even at a glance. With 150m of water-resistance thanks in part to the screw-down crown, the Tudor Black Bay M79580-0001 is a true go-anywhere, do-anything timepiece for smaller wrists.
