Brand of the Month

Feldmar Watch Company is pleased to feature Girard-Perregaux as our October Brand of the Month.

235 YEARS OF HAUTE HORLOGERIE.
FIVE SIGNATURES. ONE LAUREATO.

Laureato Fifty Tourbillon Micro-Rotor 39 mm

For 235 years, Girard-Perregaux has cultivated a watchmaking language shaped by principles that have transcended generations. Some became technical milestones. Others evolved into defining signatures. Together, they remain at the heart of the Manufacture today.

In 2025, Girard-Perregaux celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Laureato with the introduction of the Laureato Fifty, comprising the Laureato Fifty Bicolour and the Laureato Fifty Three Gold Bridges Tourbillon.

In 2026, the Laureato Fifty becomes a permanent pillar of the Laureato family with the introduction of new 39 mm and 36 mm models, available with an in-house Grand Feu enamel dial, an 18K solid gold dial or silver dial with diamond bezel. Combining the new Manufacture calibre GP4800, refined craftsmanship and the architectural coherence that has defined the Laureato for five decades, these timepieces embody Girard-Perregaux’s contemporary vision of Cultivated Haute Horlogerie.

Today, with the Laureato Fifty Tourbillon micro-rotor 39 mm, Girard-Perregaux introduces more than a new complication. It unites five enduring signatures of the Manufacture within a single contemporary creation, expressing the Manufacture’s philosophy of Haute Horlogerie: one cultivated over 235 years, where beauty is born from mechanics, architecture serves function, and every generation builds upon the last.

THE GIRARD-PERREGAUX BRIDGES

One of the oldest design signatures in luxury

Introduced by Constant Girard in 1867, the three arrow-shaped Bridges transformed movement structure into the first enduring design signature in watchmaking. Nearly 160 years later, they remain the purest expression of the Manufacture's belief that beauty begins within.

THE LYRE-SHAPED TOURBILLON CAGE

The lyre-shaped tourbillon cage is one of Girard-Perregaux's longest-standing design signatures, too. First introduced in the nineteenth century, it transforms a purely functional regulating organ into an element of aesthetic expression. More than a century later, it remains an unmistakable hallmark of the Manufacture's tourbillons, illustrating its enduring commitment to uniting technical innovation and beauty.

ENAMEL GRAND FEU

Its translucent blue Grand Feu enamel dial perpetuates a decorative art practiced in-house since the time of Jean-François Bautte, in the early 1790’s, and preserved in-house by the Manufacture to this day.

THE LAUREATO ARCHITECTURE

Since 1975, the Laureato's unmistakable architecture has provided the framework through which proportion, mechanical innovation and timeless coherence exist as one.

THE CLOUS DE PARIS

Its Clous de Paris motif extends throughout the watch. On the dial, it provides the foundation for either an entirely in-house Grand Feu enamel execution or an 18K solid gold rose-toned finish. On the movement, it is echoed by two large white gold bridges entirely decorated with the same pattern, reinforcing the architectural coherence that unites the front and back of the timepiece.

LAUREATO FIFTY TOURBILLON

CALIBRE GP8410. A NEW MANUFACTURE TOURBILLON.

Four New Manufacture Movements in One Year. One Continuous Vision.

The introduction of the GP8410 perpetuates an exceptional period of movement development for Girard-Perregaux. Within twelve months, starting with the GP4800 in September 2025, the Manufacture will have unveiled four entirely new calibres spanning the breadth of contemporary Haute Horlogerie, from a refined automatic movement to Grand Complications.

The GP4800 established a new generation of Manufacture automatic movements.

The GP9620 reaffirmed the Manufacture's mastery of the Three Gold Bridges Tourbillon.

The GP9530 Minute Repeater, skeletonized to an exceptional degree, marked the return of one of watchmaking's most demanding complications.

And the GP8410 completes this remarkable sequence, bringing together a new Manufacture tourbillon and a micro-rotor. More than four new movements, they represent one continuous vision of Haute Horlogerie, cultivated over 235 years.
