- Caseback limitations—Custom engraving is only possible on solid casebacks, not display/exhibition (sapphire) casebacks.
- Branding approval—All engravings, including logos and text, must be reviewed and approved by both Feldmar and TUDOR to ensure they meet brand guidelines.
How long does the engraving process take?
The engraving process typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, from approval to completion. All engravings are done offsite in the U.S. by TUDOR, not Feldmar. This ensures the highest quality craftsmanship. Please keep this timeline in mind when planning for corporate gifting or special events.
Can I put my company’s logo on the dial?
TUDOR has, on rare occasions, produced special watches with custom dial branding, but these projects are highly exclusive and require significant lead time—these projects take an average of 18 months, and are not guaranteed to go into production. Custom dials require specialized tooling from TUDOR’s dialmakers, and not every request can be accommodated due to current production demands.
