Community Involvement
Cedars-Sinai Blood Donor Services
Cedars-Sinai Blood Donor Services is personally supported by many members of the Feldmar Watch Company family. 3rd generation owner, Sol Meller, was a very generous blood and platelet donor during his lifetime – a tradition now carried on by his son Scott. Cedars-Sinai is home to a state-of-the-art blood donation facility and also has two mobile units for collecting blood that bring the donation facility to you. Feldmar Watch Company began hosting the Annual Sol Meller Memorial Blood Drive in 2017 to support this life-saving organization.
Concern Foundation
The Concern Foundation is a volunteer-driven organization that donates 90-95% of proceeds directly to cancer research. In 2014, Feldmar and Girard-Perregaux teamed up to donate a percentage of the watch brand’s sales for the month to the Concern Foundation. Later, in 2016, friends of Feldmar Watch Company Karen Bradbury and Michael Benavente ran the LA Marathon as part of Team Concern Foundation, raising over $8,400 in memory of Sol Meller. Feldmar is, and will continue to be, a strong supporter of this incredible organization.
The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home
The mission of The Guardians of the Los Angeles Jewish Home is to provide financial support for seniors and needy members of the Los Angeles Jewish community who are served by the Los Angeles Jewish Home, through residential and community-based programs. Feldmar 4th generation owner, Scott Meller, plays an active role in this organization.
