Bulgari Watches
Bvlgari watches exquisitely merge the Swiss watchmaking precision with contemporary Italian design.
Bulgari was founded in Rome in 1884 by an immensely talented Greek silversmith named Sotirio Bulgari. His reputation as the maker of magnificent, exquisitely crafted jewelry creations was unmatched, and over the ensuing decades the Bulgari generations only added to that legacy with a distinctive style that embraced vibrant color combinations, exquisitely balanced designs, and motifs that paid homage to the company’s Roman roots.
In the 1920s Bulgari added extravagantly jeweled Art Deco wrist watches to their repertoire, and a new era was born. In the late 1940s the watchmaker introduced serpentine watches in the form of snakes that wrapped around the wrist, ending with a jeweled head concealing the dial—another nod to their Roman beginnings.
Today Bulgari merges Swiss watchmaking precision and cutting-edge engineering with contemporary Italian design, using unconventional materials like porcelain, silk, and wood to push the boundaries of luxury and reach new pinnacles of sophistication.
