With the Bremont Pilot Range Chronograph, Bremont founders Nick and Giles English set out to design the quintessential pilots wristwatch that would conform to the most demanding levels of legibility and precision. The ALT1-P has a sporty, classic aesthetic that draws inspiration from flight deck instruments found in vintage military planes. The three-piece “Trip-Tick” Bremont case measures 43 mm in diameter and 16 mm in depth, and features a transparent exhibition caseback.
Under the hood is a workhorse automatic chronograph movement based on the legendary Valjoux 7750, which is one of the most widely utilized chronograph movements of all time due to its reputation for being robust and reliable. However, this is no normal 7750; it has been modified and tested extensively to meet Bremont’s exacting standards. Moreover, it has been fully certified as a chronometer movement by the COSC – a title that denotes supreme accuracy and performance.
This particular example of the Bremont ALT1-P is is excellent pre-owned condition, and comes as a complete set with its original leather wallet case and factory papers. There are slight scratches to the case as well as some wear to the original leather strap.
