Description
The Laureato is one of the most flexible watch models in our store, available in a dizzying array of styles and with seemingly endless combinations of complications, colors, and styles. The blend at hand today is particularly appealing thanks to a number of factors representative of some of the hottest trends in watchmaking. Girard-Perregaux has made a blue-dial sports watch (these are having somewhat of a moment at present) with a high-end perpetual calendar complication that is fitting given GP’s place as one of the most esteemed watch companies in Feldmar’s store.
With 100m of water resistance and a stainless steel build that’s durable enough to keep up with strenuous adventures, the GP Laureato Perpetual Calendar cuts no corners in terms of resilience and utility. The perpetual calendar function – a high end complication by any measure – takes on a striking appearance thanks to asymmetrically positioned subdials, red accents, and a high-contrast white-on-blue appearance atop the Clou De Paris textured dial. Rounded edges meet sharp corners in the watch’s thoughtfully designed geometry including the Laureato’s signature octagonal bezel. With a 54 hour power reserve, the GP Perpetual is a true “weekend watch” – take it off Friday after work and put it back on Monday morning without a hitch.
