Description
The Tudor Black Bay 54 is a modern throwback to Tudor’s first dive watch from 1954. At a wearable 37mm with a simple dial and an aluminum bezel insert you get all the vintage aesthetics of Tudor’s original 7922 but with all the capabilities of their modern Black Bay line. On the dateless black dial you’ll find a subtle sunray finish and gilt accents which pop beautifully in the sunlight without being too flashy or overpowering for this under-the-radar gem. Within the 200m water-resistant stainless steel case you’ll find a COSC certified in-house movement with a whopping 70 hours of power reserve. You could set it down on Friday and pick it up on Monday and it would still be ticking! Not that you’d want to put it down, at just 11.2mm thick and with Tudor’s T-Fit clasp you’d be hard pressed to find a more comfortable wearing watch for daily use. Uncle Nate says if he didn’t have a 14.5 inch wrist this would be his go-to watch for his daily bear necessities.
