The Rolex Submariner 16800 is the perfect blend of vintage charm and modern practicality. Not only is this model one of the first to come with a sapphire crystal it is also the first Submariner model to use the 3035 movement which introduced a quickset date function. It also upped the water resistance from the previous 200 meters to an impressive 300 meters. The 16800 still sports an aluminum bezel insert, which unlike the newer ceramic inserts will age over time into a lovely patina.
