In 1860, when he was just 20 years old, Swiss founder Edouard Heuer sought to innovate in the watchmaking industry and opened the workshop that would become TAG Heuer. By 1887, he succeeded in inventing a technological marvel that revolutionized chronographs—the oscillating pinion. In the many years since, TAG Heuer has made a lasting name for itself as an avant-garde designer of technologically advanced timepieces.
From creating the Mikrograph, the first stopwatch accurate to within 1/100th of a second, to becoming the first Swiss watchmaker in space, the brand has always been pushing forward and holding itself to a high standard—which makes their modern slogan, #dontcrackunderpressure, all the more appropriate. TAG Heuer Connected
More than just a touchscreen smart watch, the Connected model offers a “custom suite of microapplications,” including an alarm, a stopwatch, weather monitoring features, and access to thousands of tailor-able apps through Android Wear. The watch is Bluetooth connective, Android and iOS compatible, and contains a 1.6Ghz dual core processor, allowing it to meet just about any technical need. TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 18
This chronograph is a vintage throwback, based on Jack Heuer’s original Carrera design, resembling the popular Carrera of the 1960s. In addition to the chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock, it features a telemeter scale on the flange, allowing the wearer to measure distance based on the speed of sound—useful during a thunderstorm!

TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph 1/100th
In the Carrera Mikrograph, TAG Heuer created the world’s first mechanical chronograph that was accurate to within 1/100th of a second, thanks to the “normal speed” and “high speed” watchmaking chains functioning independently of one another within the integrated mechanical movement. The timepiece is inspired by the original 1916 invention of the Mikrograph stopwatch and only 300 pieces were released, making this a collector’s must-have.
