Description
IWC has been a pioneer of perpetual calendar watchmaking since Kurt Klaus developed their legendary movement in the 1980s. This Portofino is a refined and simplified version of the perpetual calendar that IWC has been known to produce. The straight lugs, flat white dial, and simple, thin numerals, this piece exemplifies simplicity in high end watchmaking. The perpetual calendar is displayed in a tricompax layout with three subdials. In the middle of the left day sundial, there is a sneaky leap year indicator.
