Brand Spotlight: Ulysse Nardin
This month, we showcase Ulysse Nardin as our Brand of the Month. This innovative brand was founded in 1846 when they began manufacturing precision marine and pocket chronometers. For over 170 years, Ulysse Nardin has dedicated itself to independence and innovation, committed to creating and manufacturing each timepiece aspect completely in-house. Since 1865, the brand has worked out of the same building in Le Locle, Switzerland, and throughout its history, has been recognized with over 4000 awards for technology and innovation. Each Ulysse Nardin mechanical timepiece has its own unique features, and many have introduced new technologies to the market.
Six extraordinary collections make up the Ulysse Nardin fleet — Marine, Diver, Classic, Executive, Freak and Jade. The brand is best known for producing precise marine chronometers, which were supplied to over 50 navies across the world in the 1800s.
Ulysse Nardin remains true to its marine roots with its partnerships and sponsorships. The brand partners with the Swedish Artemis Racing yacht team, and supported them in Bermuda as they competed in the 35th America’s cup. They were also the main sponsor of the 2017 Monaco yacht show.
