TUDOR x Feldmar: The L.A. Watch Community Comes Together To Celebrate TUDOR Watches

On Tuesday, August 30, American watch fans awoke to a surprise announcement from Tudor – the 39mm Pelagos. 24 hours later, over 100 watch fans gathered at Feldmar to see Tudor’s storied lineup of watches, socialize, and swap stories.

With a soundtrack provided by DJ Hauskaat and a special whiskey tasting experience hosted by Laws Whiskey, guests mingled and munched, tasting everything from bacon-wrapped figs to Swedish meatballs.

A custom cocktail – a Manhattan – was the most popular drink of the evening, thanks to custom cubes emblazoned with the Tudor shield logo.

Guests listened to Feldmar’s Store Director, Jamie Hayes as he introduced Adam Bossi, VP at Tudor who warmly greeted all in attendance before making a few remarks praising the watch community and Tudor’s excitement about engaging with fans.

As watch-lovers cruised Feldmar’s 6,000 sq. ft. showroom, they snapped selfies, wrist-rolls, and eyed the full range of watches generously provided by Tudor. From the Ranger to FXD, and Black Bay Pro to Chrono, guests were eager to see each special timepiece “in the metal”.

As the evening wound down, excited raffle winner claimed their one-of-a-kind pocketknife made by ProTech knives. Each special piece featured an engraving of the Feldmar and Tudor logos on the blade.

Departing into the warm LA night, guests clutching Tudor gift bags exchanged numbers and IG handles, already planning their next meetup. From Tudor and Feldmar, thank you for being a part of this special evening!

Born in Washington state, Tom developed an interest in photography during college at University of San Diego. There, he got started in music journalism, interviewing artists and taking photos at concerts. A life-long tinkerer and collector, it wasn’t long before Tom became fascinated with fountain pens and watches.

Those interests collided in November 2020 when Tom started at Feldmar Watch Company where he lives out every watch geek’s dream: photographing and writing about timepieces. When he’s not tinkering with his watch collection, Tom can be found traveling, biting his nails while watching PNW sports teams, and taking flying lessons.
