A History of Excellence Since 1837: Brand Spotlight on Hermés
From their beginning as a horse saddle and harness workshop, to their current exalted position as a French fashion empire, Hermés exemplifies classic, luxury watchmaking. Not only are the timepieces technologically innovative and exquisitely designed, but since 2006, Hermés has been the only watch brand to craft their own leather watch straps. We at Feldmar are proud to shine a spotlight on the collections of Hermés.
Hermés Carré H
The distinctive square face with rounded corners is crafted of microblasted and polished steel, with a sapphire crystal caseback and an anti-glare sapphire crystal. A richly textured opaline central guilloche and dark grey dial with Arabic numeral markers. Choose from yellow burnishing, natural barenia calf, or yellow and grey fabric straps.
Hermés HO8
A modern interpretation of the all-terrain watch, with style to spare so it’s perfect for everyday wear. Features include a black DLC titanium case with sunburst satin-brushed titanium bezel and sapphire crystal caseback, and an anti-glare sapphire crystal. The black nickel-treated or black gold-treated dials feature elements such as black-gold-treated minutes disc, black nickel-treated hands and hour markers, date indicator, and Super-LumiNova coated hour markers and hands. The timepieces are finished with an orange rubber or black rubber strap, or a titanium bracelet.
Hermés Arceau
Exquisite does not begin to describe the watches of the Hermés Arceau collection, defined by the asymmetrical stirrup-shaped case attachments found on each men’s and ladies’ timepiece, a nod to the company’s saddle making history. Impeccably designed, with a myriad of dial colors to choose from, including white mother of pearl, black and grey or blue fantasy map, grained anthracite, and more. The variety of dial features and designs include double moon phase, date subdial, off-centered hours and minutes, Arabic numeral markers, and black-gold hands with Super-Luminova. Sumptuous straps are offered in leather, natural Barenia calf, or Barenia calf with Bradoon.
Hermés Cape Cod
Hermés launched the Cape Cod collection in 1991 as a whimsical yet classic addition to their stellar watch lineup. Each timepiece in the collection features a square dial that sits inside a rectangular case and a single or double wrap-around interchangeable strap. Stainless steel or 18K yellow gold cases are available, some models with diamond bezels. Dial colors include white lacquer, black lacquer, white natural mother of pearl, blue-tinted monocrystalline silicon and yellow gold coating, and more. Choose from dial features such as Chaine d’Ancre motif, and Arabic numeral markers.
Hermés Heure H
The famous Hermés ‘H’ initial was turned into a ladies’ watch in 1996, and to this day, a yellow gold-plated, steel or diamond-encrusted ‘H’ adorns the case of each timepiece in the classic Heure H collection. Dial colors are offered in white, white mother of pearl, or black, with Arabic numeral markers. Some models are adorned with diamond markers. The interchangeable straps are crafted in-house in brilliant colors such as orange, pink, red, brown, white, and more. A collection as iconic as it is stylish.
Hermés Kelly
The legendary Hermés Kelly bag has always been adorned with a padlock clasp. In 1975 that clasp became a unique timepiece with the same name. The detachable padlock defines the collection, and can be worn on the wearer’s wrist or anywhere else. Make a Kelly timepiece distinctly yours by choosing a yellow gold-plated or steel case and a single or double wrap-around strap of grained calf.
Hermés Medor
There are many unique watches in the world, but few are as eye-catching and original as the timepieces of the Medor collection. They feature a brightly designed opaline silver plated dial concealed under a steel decorative cap. A single or double wrap-around strap in alligator, smooth Etoupe calf, or calf leather stylishly completes each piece. Some models with diamonds on the cap for an exquisite extra touch.
Hermés Nantucket
Another singularly inventive design from the master craftsmen at Hermés, the watches of the Nantucket collection feature a slim version of the Chaine d’Ancere, stylish timepieces with interchangeable strap capabilities. Cases are made of steel, some with diamonds on the crown, bezel, or dial. Dial colors include rhodium plated, blue lacquer, and opaline silver, with Arabic numeral markers.
Hermés Slim D’Hermés
Minimalistic in design yet extravagant in execution, each men’s and ladies’ Slim H’Hermés watch features delicate and precise lines and a dial adorned with unique number markers designed by Philippe Apeloig. Titanium, steel, or rose gold cases are available, some with diamond bezel, and anti-glare sapphire crystal. Dial colors are offered in dark grey, opaline silver, blue, or skeleton, with a variety of different features. Choose from alligator or leather straps in indigo blue, graphite, red, and more, or a steel bracelet.
