Collection Spotlight: Citizen Mickey Mouse Watches

In celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th anniversary and to kick-off the brand’s multi-year partnership with Disney, Citizen has released a collection of eight watches featuring one of the most popular and beloved characters of all time, the mouse that started it all, Mickey Mouse. This launch follows the debut of the Citizen branded clocks that can now be found in Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The brand also sponsors the “Time Guides” found in the parks.
Reasonably priced (all under $500), the watches are available in two sizes – 29.5mm and 40mm. The two 29.5mm ladies’ watches feature a black dial with diamond accents and a case in either rose gold or stainless steel. The recognizable mouse’s face is featured at the 8 o’clock marker. The 40mm watches feature a black dial and either a black stainless steel bracelet, black mesh band, silver mesh band or a leather strap. The dial adorning each of the 40mm timepieces displays multiple Mickey Mouse faces or silhouettes.
The Mickey Mouse collection is inspired by Citizen’s best-selling watches and are packaged in specialty boxes featuring exclusive artwork. Each is powered by Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology so they never need a battery.

Since attending Santa Monica College, Scott has become an expert in the technical aspects of the timepieces sold at Feldmar. Each year, he travels to Switzerland—the watchmaking capital of the world—to attend the Baselword Watch & Jewelry Fair and build upon his extensive knowledge of this quickly-evolving industry.
Scott is very proud of the way Feldmar customers are put first: “We regularly go out of our way to meet the needs of our clients. A client once purchased a rather significant watch as a birthday gift for his brother who lived in New York. Our client asked how we were going to deliver the gift and we responded with the typical answer, we would ship it by FedEx. After we answered his question, we could tell that he wanted a more personalized experience for the delivery and offered to have it hand-delivered by one of our associates. He lit up at the thought, and so off went one of our associates to New York City for the day to hand-deliver the gift.”
