Event Recap: Zodiac & Ariel Adams Unveil the Super Sea Wolf “Pineapple Dream” at Feldmar Watch Company
On Monday night, we threw a luau to celebrate Zodiac’s newest piece, the Super Sea Wolf Pineapple Dream! Complete with Hawaiian shirts, festive drinks, island jams, and tropical vibes, a lei-surely good time was had by all. Designed by aBlogtoWatch founder Ariel Adams (pictured speaking, above), this piece serves as a companion to the Super Sea Wolf Aquamarine Dream, which quickly became a best-seller upon its release in 2021. The Pineapple Dream combines a celebration of the beauty and wonder of the natural world Adams experienced in Nassau, Bahamas with a passion for reliable timekeeping and sharp horticultural style. Adams was particularly inspired by “tropical foliage of all types whose leaves are a deep green which fades to yellow at their tips.”
The fabric strap features a palm leaf motif (the piece also comes with a metal bracelet), while the dial design is shared with the Aquamarine Dream. The dial and bezel are both designed to evoke the look of tropical plants and fruits, featuring a gradient effect of vibrant greens and yellows.
Connecting with the design language shared between everything from interiors to fashion, Adams included an etched pineapple on the back of the case along with the message, “A Slice of the Good Life.” A tiny pineapple also links the seconds hand to the center of the dial, serving as the perfect tropical touch on the front of the piece.
