Hot List: July 7, 2023

You might beat the heat with a day on the water, but there’s no beating the heat in the Hot List! With spicy watches from Zenith, Tudor, and more, we’re bringing you the best of what’s in stock at Feldmar! Read on!

ZENITH PILOT BIG DATE FLYBACK

Announced at the Watches & Wonders show in March, the newest Pilot timepieces from Zenith have started to arrive and they are stunning! Everything on offer is easy to read at a glance from the prominent numerals to the oversized date window.

The Tonda PF Chronograph puts the “check” in wrist-check.

TISSOT SIDERAL S POWERMATIC 80

tissot-sideral-s-powermatic-80

When it was introduced in 1971, the Tissot Sideral was the world’s first watch to feature a fiberglass case. Reintroduced for 2023, the Sideral S continues to innovate with a case of forged carbon and Tissot’s famous Powermatic 80 movement providing 4+ days worth of power reserve! We’re also loving the lumed dial and regatta-inspired design!

BULGARI OCTO ROMA

bulgari-octo-roma

Feast your eyes! Before the wafer-thin Octo Finissimo, there was the Octo Roma. With a more rounded case and prominent wrist presence, the Octo Roma’s new Clous de Paris dials make this the right watch for the moment.

TUDOR PELAGOS 39MM

tudor-pelagos-39mm

No, you’re not hallucinating. Since launching, these robust right-sized divers from Tudor have been extremely hard to come by. And for good reason! With a smaller size than their 42mm counterpart, the Pelagos 39 is in high demand and is best in class!

FREDERIQUE CONSTANT CLASSICS ELEGANCE MOONPHASE

frederique-constant-classics-elegance-moonphase

Pairing a diamond-set, mother-of-pearl dial with a moonphase and highly stylized applied numerals make this FC a perfect example of how dress watches don’t always need to be sterile, austere affairs.

BELL & ROSS BR 05 GMT SKY BLUE

bell-and-ross-br05-gmt-sky-blue

Plenty of pilot watches adhere to the archetype: black dial, onion crown, flieger style, etc. Bell & Ross’ BR 05 goes its own way, drawing design inspiration directly from cockpit instruments. And the newest GMT in sky blue even salutes the wild blue domain of pilots worldwide!

TAG HEUER AQUARACER PROFESSIONAL 200 SOLARGRAPH

What is it about a matte finish that makes a tool watch look so good? With the Solargraph from TAG Heuer, beauty isn’t just skin deep. Thanks to a solar powered movement, this is a watch that’ll run all day (and all night too!)

MAURICE LACROIX PONTOS S DIVER

maurice-lacroix-pontos-s-diver

The new Pontos S from Maurice Lacroix adds true compressor diver styling to the brand’s roster – and does it in style! Turn the color-accented crown at 2:00 to adjust the inner rotating bezel while admiring the textured dial.

BREITLING TOP TIME B01 TRIUMPH

breitling-top-time-b01-triumph

This watch is a “triumph”. Get it? Triumph? Like the motorcycle? Despite our bad jokes, this watch is real good, with a bicompax blue sunburst dial that continues the Top Time’s dominance as the ultimate road-ready companion.

About The Author: Tom Roth

author

Born in Washington state, Tom developed an interest in photography during college at University of San Diego. There, he got started in music journalism, interviewing artists and taking photos at concerts. A life-long tinkerer and collector, it wasn’t long before Tom became fascinated with fountain pens and watches.

Those interests collided in November 2020 when Tom started at Feldmar Watch Company where he lives out every watch geek’s dream: photographing and writing about timepieces. When he’s not tinkering with his watch collection, Tom can be found traveling, biting his nails while watching PNW sports teams, and taking flying lessons.
