Summer has “unofficially” started now that we’re past Memorial Day. We’re making it fully official here, as this week’s Hot List has serious summer sizzle. So join us as we take you through some watches that you’ll want to wear all the way through to Labor Day and beyond…
ZENITH DEFY SKYLINE TOURBILLON
Our marketing director recently took a tour of the Zenith Manufacture in Le Locle, Switzerland and came back with rave reviews — so much so that we wanted to feature this stunner here first on our list. The Defy Skyline Tourbillon is powered by the legendary El Primero 3630 high-frequency automatic in-house movement that has a power reserve of 60 hours. (Fun fact: even though this Defy appears to have an integrated bracelet, it is actually easily interchangeable with an included blue patterned rubber strap!)

What is a rattrapante, you ask? Does it allow you to travel through time? Does it help make ratatouille? Ulysse Nardin has invested its extensive expertise into finding new materials and technologies to raise environmental awareness. This is on display here through the utilization of recycled steel and carbon composites and even nylon straps made from recycled fishing nets. It also features the in-house UN-118 movement with Silicium + DIAMonSIL escapement and 60 hours of power reserve.
HERMES H08 WATCH
“While you’re out, Miranda needs you to go to Hermès to pick up 25 scarves we ordered for her.” 🧣 What wasn’t included in the final cut of Devil Wears Prada is a line about picking up 25 H08s too. Seriously though, this watch is made from graphene composite and has a sunburst satin-brushed ceramic bezel with mirror-polished chamfers. Very haute couture. Too bad it doesn’t come in cerulean 😉

This B&R is eye-catching in the light and in the dark. Seriously, pictures of the lum here hardly do it justice.
