A Partnership as Cool as Ice: Feldmar Watch Company and the Los Angeles Kings
Two organizations rooted for decades in Los Angeles and its culture: Feldmar Watch Company and the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings. Both with a deep dedication to the people of its city, it only makes sense that we at Feldmar Watch Company have forged a strong relationship with our beloved, hometown hockey team.
Our relationship goes back quite a while. The Kings reached out to us, as we were already a known and reliable company to the Heads of Marketing and Sales at the organization. We started by providing watches as rewards to their internal sales team. In turn, we went to a season’s worth of games for several seasons and witnessed the Kings win their first Stanley Cup in 2012. Jamie and I have even become personal friends with members of the Marketing and Sales team and have been invited to view the Stanley Cup at their homes when they won again in 2014.
As our partnership continued, the Kings began providing luxury watches for commemorative nights: Kings Legends Night (3 – 4 timers per season) and more. It was even our great pleasure to provide watches for visiting guests like Willie O’Ree, whom some call the Jackie Robinson of hockey.
We want to thank a couple of our watch brands: Baume & Mercier, who allowed us to present its Capeland Chronograph on a couple of occasions, and Maurice Lacroix, who you will most often see as the timepiece of choice given to Legends and Kings team members alike. We’ve given away Maurice Lacroix Pontos, Pontos S Chrono and Pontos Chronos models.
Most recently, on February 14, the Kings honored longtime defenseman and Kings legend, Sean O’Donnell, with a Maurice Lacroix timepiece. You can watch the presentation, provided by the NHL, here:
We’d like to thank the Kings organization for being such a generous partner to us over the last decade. It is our pleasure to provide some of our favorite luxury timepieces to those we’ve grown up watching play hockey and even bring the city of Los Angeles a couple of championships! We’re honored and excited to work the Kings for many years to come!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Scott joined Feldmar Watch Company, Inc. under the tutelage of his father, Sol. As a fourth generation family member, Scott’s forward-thinking business acumen has placed Feldmar on the cutting edge of the luxury timepiece market. Scott’s favorite part about working at Feldmar is being a part of his family’s multi-generational business and having worked alongside his father. His accomplishments are many, including the expansion and remodel of the Feldmar flagship store, as well as a second location inside The Beverly Hilton.
Since attending Santa Monica College, Scott has become an expert in the technical aspects of the timepieces sold at Feldmar. Each year, he travels to Switzerland—the watchmaking capital of the world—to attend the Baselword Watch & Jewelry Fair and build upon his extensive knowledge of this quickly-evolving industry.
Scott is very proud of the way Feldmar customers are put first: “We regularly go out of our way to meet the needs of our clients. A client once purchased a rather significant watch as a birthday gift for his brother who lived in New York. Our client asked how we were going to deliver the gift and we responded with the typical answer, we would ship it by FedEx. After we answered his question, we could tell that he wanted a more personalized experience for the delivery and offered to have it hand-delivered by one of our associates. He lit up at the thought, and so off went one of our associates to New York City for the day to hand-deliver the gift.”
