Celebrity sport ambassadors are utilized in numerous product categories and timepieces are certainly no exception! Quite a few luxury watch brands have high profile partnerships with top athletes. Below is a look at a several well-known watch brands and the famous faces that are associated with them.
Longines
Longines counts husband and wife tennis legends Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi among their ambassadors of elegance. Earlier this year, the pair starred in a memorable TV spot for the brand. Andre Agassi has been part of the Longines family since 2007, the same year that the brand launched its new sport collection and Stefanie Graf has been an ambassador since 2008. OMEGA
OMEGA includes top-ranked players Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia among their family of golfing ambassadors. Back in August, the pair officially opened the OMEGA Exhibition at the 2015 PGA Championship. This year the exhibit highlights OMEGA’s role as Official Timekeeper of the PGA of America and the Olympic Games. McIlroy and Garcia left their “mark” on the OMEGA Exhibition, each autographing their photo wall inside the space. OMEGA was the Official Timekeeper of the PGA Championship for the fifth straight year and recently extended its historic partnership with the PGA through 2022. TAG Heuer has women’s golf pro Jessica Korda and tennis great Maria Sharapova on their ambassador roster. Both athletes are a perfect fit with Tag’s #DontCrackUnderPressure! campaign.
