Tudor Now Available at Feldmar Watch Company!
Today, we are beyond proud to announce that we are now an authorized retailer for legendary Swiss brand, Tudor.
In the 1920s, Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf set out to create a watch that could be sold at a lower price point than Rolex, yet one that would retain the same dependability for which Rolex was known. A century later, Tudor continues to make reliable, great-looking watches that offer a truly exceptional value for the money.
In recent years, Tudor has become one of the most popular, well-respected Swiss watch brands in the world, and for good reason. The brand has developed a reputation for consistent stylistic and technical innovation, while also being mindful of its roots. While many of Tudor’s designs are inspired by its storied past, its pieces aren’t mere copies of vintage watches; they are better described as modern re-interpretations. Accordingly, Tudor’s overall aesthetic is classic yet fresh, and evocative rather than derivative. Most importantly, the brand has taken it upon itself to deliver watches of the utmost quality while remaining at an attractive price point.
Well-made and built for purpose
With Tudor, Feldmar customers can expect extremely well-made watches that are stylish, but also built for purpose. Most of Tudor’s pieces feature a classic, timeless design language, yet boast modern specifications, including contemporary materials and in many cases, chronometer-certified in-house movements. Tudor also prides itself on meticulous attention to detail, which is evident on each and every one of the products it offers. Even Tudor’s NATO straps are crafted with perfection in mind, using a production process that employs skilled artisans and large, century-old “shuttle loom” machines to ensure maximum comfort and durability.
Though I’m a huge fan of the entire Tudor line, if I had to pick a stand-out, it would be the newly released Black Bay Fifty-Eight in navy blue. I see the watch as a charming modern re-interpretation of one of their all-time classics – the Tudor “Snowflake,” which was introduced in 1969.
At 39 mm, the watch exudes a classic spirit, wearing much like a vintage diver would. However, it features an impressive chronometer-certified in-house movement with a silicon hairspring and 70 hours of power reserve. Thus, it is truly the best of both worlds – a “vintage” diver with top-of-the-line modern specs. Moreover, thanks to its conservative size, it can easily play the part of a dress watch. For those who prefer a more subtle aesthetic, the piece is also available with a black dial/bezel combo with rose gold “gilt” accents. For $3,700, there isn’t a better value, period.
Other notable timepieces in the Tudor family include:
Black Bay Chrono S&G

Black Bay GMT

Pelagos

Black Bay 32/36/41

1926

Tudor Royal
