OMEGA: A History of Olympic Excellence

OMEGA has been the “official timekeeper” of the Olympic games since the 1932 Games of the X Olympiad in Los Angeles, for which they provided 30 stunning stopwatches. As many watch aficionados know, since the 1950s they have also commemorated the Olympics with special, limited edition watches that are much sought after by collectors. Beginning with an 18K gold Seamaster created for the 1956 Melbourne games, and continuing to this day, OMEGA has celebrated Olympic excellence with a series of commemorative timepieces that combine award-winning design with technological innovation.

This steel Diver 300M features tributes to the Winter Olympics on both the dial and caseback—a sun-brushed blue ceramic dial with laser-engraved waves, rhodium-plated indexes, hands filled with Super-LumiNova and a polished and brushed caseback with a stamped Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 emblem. Additionally, the minute markers at 2H, 4H, 8H, 10H and 12H have been created in one of the five colors of the iconic Olympic Rings. The bezel ring is crafted in grade 5 titanium and features a 60-minute diving scale in positive relief.
