Our June brand of the month, Hamilton, is iconic, daring and bold. Featuring shield-shaped dials and a vintage aesthetic, their Ventura timepiece became the first electrical, battery powered watch in 1957. Today’s Ventura designs are almost identical to the 1950s models. Explore two of the renditions below:
The Ventura Quartz features a stainless steel case and a black calf leather strap. The Mid-Century Modern design celebrates the 1950s, paying homage to the era in which the watch was born. Since it’s inception, it has quickly become a collector’s piece, and one of the most coveted Hamilton models.
On June 14th, the Ventura Quartz will take on its latest adventure, as Agent M, played by Tessa Thompson, sports the timepiece while she fights off aliens in the new Men in Black International movie. As imperative to their uniform as the black suit and sunglasses, the Hamilton Ventura has appeared in every Men in Black movie.
Hamilton’s Ventura Auto features a see-through case back and open worked dial, offering a peak at the watch’s brilliant innerworkings.
In stainless steel and brown calf leather, this model will also be featured in the upcoming Men in Black International movie, worn by Agent H played by Chris Hemsworth.
