Hot List: January 16, 2026
When Scott heard that Hamnet has been cleaning up at award shows this year, he got a crazy idea. Too early to say if it’ll pay off, but we’re excited to see the results of his latest caper. While we wait for the results, we’re bringing you the best of what’s new at Feldmar and what’s coming soon. From Ressence to Oris, let’s check ’em out!
RESSENCE TYPE 3 BB2
In many ways, the Type 3 from Ressence is the brand’s crowning achievement. Ironic, since it has no crown! Oil-filled and fully mechanical, it only looks like a smartwatch. For the first time at Feldmar, we’ve got the all-black version in stock and it’s even more stealth than the polished steel version.
TAG HEUER FORMULA 1 CHRONOGRAPH
“And the winner is… La La Land! Wait, no, it’s TAG Heuer!” No mixups here – the newest Formula 1 Chronographs are so legible, it’s impossible to mistake them for anything else. With speed DNA at its heart, these automatic chronos bring a no-nonsense matte look to one of watchmaking’s classic race watches.
OMEGA SPEEDMASTER MOONWATCH PROFESSIONAL
In both movies and watchmaking, the sequel often rivals the original. Think: The Two Towers, The Godfather Pt. 2, or Paddington 2 (real ones know). This week, Omega brought forth a sequel of sorts to the Moonwatch, and it’s an instant hit. High-contrast subdials make this one a much-anticipated arrival. Hit us up to stay notified!
ORIS BIG CROWN POINTER DATE “BULLSEYE”
Like any good actor, the Big Crown Pointer Date shows that it’s got major range. In 2025, Oris gave the line a major modern update but notably didn’t discontinue the original design. Now, the OG version gets its first update with a neo-vintage tuxedo scheme.
MIDO OCEANSTAR 200C
Talk about an upset! Mido’s dive watches have been quietly campaigning for a while now. Rarely found outside of Seiko’s lineup, the Oceanstar 200C features both day/date indications and (as the name suggests) boasts 200 meters of water-resistance.
SEIKO PRESAGE SPB537
No category fraud here: Seiko’s latest Presage models defy convention, bringing mechanical functionality to a tonneau-shape case. Normally reserved for Seiko’s quartz movements, it’s been a long time since we’ve seen an automatic in this form-factor. Mix in an enamel dial and Seiko’s 145th anniversary is off to a great start.
