TUDOR BLACK BAY GMT
Introduced in 2023, this white-dial Black Bay GMT was the most popular Hot List watch in 2024! Congrats, Tudor! Featuring an opaline dial somewhere between silver and white, it gives a mid-century look to the multi-functional timepiece. The blue and red bezel delineates day and night on the 24-hour timescale and makes time zone tracking easy.
CHRONOSWISS DELPHIS
In 2023, we added Chronoswiss to the showroom and in 2024, the Delphis became one of the most popular Hot List watches! Once per hour, its oversized minute hand leaps to the left, making the hour window update with a satisfying snap! It all makes Chronoswiss an independent hit! ♥️
OMEGA SPECIALITIES PARIS 2024
Omega has been at the heart of every Olympics since 1932 as the official timekeeper of the the games and for the Paris 2024 Olympics, the brand announced a specialty watch to commemorate the event! With a design that’d be right at home at the Paris games of 1900, the dial is made from silver with a case crafted from Omega’s proprietary bronze-gold alloy. This one has got the podium fully covered! 🥇🥈🥉
BREGUET CLASSIQUE 7337
At this point, we shouldn’t even be surprised by the wonders of Breguet… yet we are! The level of craftsmanship that goes into producing a Classique timepiece is truly unprecedented and makes us appreciate even more the precise engineering required to make watches like this moonphase calendar. 🗓️
OMEGA SPEEDMASTER DARK SIDE OF THE MOON APOLLO 8
In 1968, NASA’s Apollo 8 crew became the first humans to ever see the far (dark) side of the moon. In tribute for 2024, OMEGA produced this ceramic chronograph with a skeletonised dial, a Saturn V rocket hand, and a decorated movement that depicts the lunar surface 🚀 Fortunately, you’ll only have to travel to 9000 Pico Blvd to see this watch.
GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL SENATOR EXCELLENCE PERPETUAL CALENDAR
We saw a LOT of watches this year, but the Senator Excellence from Glashutte Original has one of the most captivating dials we’ve ever seen and manages to display all six complications cleanly! Can you spot them all? 🕗
BLANCPAIN BATHYSCAPHE QUANTIÈME COMPLET PHASES DE LUNE
The more things change, the more they stay the same! This year, Blancpain updated the Fifty Fathoms in titanium, adding toughness while subtracting weight. Paired with a complete calendar, it’s the whole package! 🗓️
RESSENCE TYPE 5L
In 2024, the best got better! Acclaimed by many as the most innovative watch design in recent decades, the Ressence Type 5 is filled with oil, giving it a low-refractive quality that’s stunning to look at ⛽ And don’t forget the brand’s famous spinning subdial arrangement that has to be seen to be believed!
SEIKO MARINEMASTER SJE099
Just like Dodger’s world champion Shohei Ohtani, the SJE099 is big in Japan! 🗾 Actually, at just 39mm, this Marinemaster is one of the most wearable 200M dive watches around! And with Seiko’s signature LumiBrite adding plenty of brightness, it can “glow” all night! This one was a hit!
IWC INGENIEUR AUTOMATIC 40
Relaunched in ’23, we only started to see the new Ingenieuers in ’24. German for “engineer,” IWC brought the legendary sports watch back to its roots with this 40mm model. Its retro-inspired design and updated movement make it a popular piece among collectors… just like Gerald Genta drew it up! 📝
ZENITH CHRONOMASTER ORIGINAL TRIPLE CALENDAR
Triple threat? You bet! The new Chronomaster Triple Calendar does it all (and more!) in a svelte 38mm. With dial cutouts for day, month, date, and moonphase, it’s a veritable smorgasbord of features! 🧰 Oh, and it features the famous El Primero movement. So smooth!
GIRARD-PERREGAUX LAUREATO CHRONOGRAPH
2024 was a little light on Laureatos, but what we did encounter took our breath away! Limited to just 180 pieces worldwide, the new Ice Blue chronograph was an immediate head-turner 🧊 We only received one, so once it’s gone, it’s gone for good!
BVLGARI OCTO ROMA AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH
Whether you like to listen to black metal or just prefer to wear it, the newest version of the Octo Roma is the right answer. The top BVLGARI of 2024 was a chronograph with functionality that helps precisely time how long it takes to “name that tune.” Every second counts! 🤘
ULYSSE NARDIN FREAK X OPS
The newest member of the Freak collection from U.N. swooped into the store and surprised everybody! 🛸Thanks to the khaki “Magma” case made from an original composite of carbon fiber and epoxy resin, this one’s got tactical vibes written all over it! Or is that a topographic map….
