Hot Topic: The Top Watches from 100 Feldmar Hot Lists

As Feldmar fans know, the Weekly Hot List is an institution among watch geeks. Every Friday, the Feldmar team picks the top watches from our 6,000 square foot showroom, featuring them with our followers on Instagram and via email. From new releases to familiar classics, the Hot List is how fans find out what’s creating buzz in the watch world. While each watch on the Hot List is… well… hot, some are just a cut above the rest. We’re celebrating our 100th weekly Hot List by bringing you 15 watches that created the most waves. This special group of timepieces generated more clicks, calls, and queries than any other so without further ado, let’s meet the Top Watches from 100 Feldmar Hot Lists!

#15 – Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra GMT Worldtimer

Now in its 15th year, the Aqua Terra line from Omega’s Seamaster collection has become a cornerstone of luxury watchmaking. With signature styling like geometric applied indices and a 6 o’clock date window, the GMT Worldtimer represents a step forward. A mesmerizing top-down view of the globe serves as a visual centerpiece while the surrounding 24-hour scale allows time-telling any timezone.

#14 – Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute TI 230

We’re not in the business of predicting the future but we have a hunch the Laureato Absolute Ti from GP is destined to become a classic. The past few years have seen GP’s Laureato line skyrocket in terms of popularity and it’s easy to see why. Timeless styling and bold materials like the Ti’s all-titanium case and gradient gray dial make this a definite collector’s piece.

#13 – IWC Portofino Chronograph 2022 “Laureus Sport For Good”

Limited to 1,000 pieces, this year’s “Laureus Sport for Good” release from IWC is a 39mm Portofino Chronograph. Featuring the signature blue dial for which all Laureus watches are known, the longstanding partnership with IWC commits a portion of all sales toward youth development through participation in sports. Like many of you, we fell in love with this one as soon as we saw it.

#12 – Rolex 114300 Oyster Perpetual

Feldmar’s pre-owned showcase is a true treasure trove on any given day but once in a while, some truly special pieces pop up. Take for example this Rolex OP that dropped by for just a moment back in January. Those blue indices add something unique to an otherwise classic watch!

For being located 250 miles from the nearest ocean, the watchmakers of Glashutte in Germany sure know how to craft a great dive watch! The Spezialist SeaQ was great already but it got even better due to the addition of the “panorama” date feature at the 4 o’clock spot. Thanks to some genius German engineering, this innovative date complication is made up of two discs that move in harmony to always show the correct indication. It’s features like this that made the SeaQ PanoDate the 10th most popular watch from our first 100 Hot Lists!

#9 – TAG Heuer Monaco “Dark Lord” 39MM

The incredibly named “Dark Lord” was a hit on the Hot List not just because of great titling but great timing! The week that it dropped, TAG Heuer brand ambassador Sergio Perez dominated the 2022 Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. Beyond its racing heritage the Dark Lord is a flat out cool looking watch with textures and colors coming together as one.

#8 – Seiko Prospex SRPH97 Black Series

Seiko’s “Black Series” was a hit when it was first introduced last year. And for an encore performance, the SRPH97, carries the torch thanks to top-notch finishing, and a wearable size. While there’s lots to love, we think it was that bold lume got people clicking and calling!

#7 – Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Canopus

Omega strikes gold! Canopus, developed by Omega, is a high-brilliance 18kt white gold alloy containing platinum, rhodium and palladium. Set side-by-side with the Sedna version, an 18kt rose gold that blends copper and palladium and it’s clear that these special materials elevate the Speedie to a whole new level.

#6 – BVLGARI Aluminum “Ducati” Automatic Chronograph

The Aluminum Ducati from BVLGARI looks fast even when it’s at rest. Thanks to road-inspired design and top-end specs, this is a whole lot of watch packed into a 40mm case and because it’s a limited edition, it generated a ton of buzz! 

#5 – Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope 43MM

We’re in the top 5! As if the Omega Chronoscope wasn’t enough of a show-stopper, the bronze-gold variant is even more stunning thanks to its unique texture and brightness. Utilizing a proprietary method to make this all-new alloy, Omega takes the Speedmaster to a new level. Definitely one of the top releases from Omega in the past 12 months, we’re not surprised one bit that it was a stunner on the Hot List!

#4 – Breitling Superocean 44MM

When Breitling announced they were updating the Superocean line for 2022, fans immediately wanted to know more, driving this turquoise dial beauty to the top of the Hot List! Breitling salutes the early days of tool watches with the newly updated Superocean line! Featuring a dizzying array of dial colors, sizes, and strap options, the Superocean is writing the next chapter in dive watch history. And at just 12.2mm, this is one of the thinnest high performance divers today!

#3 – Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Green Dial

Is it any surprise this list is stacked with Omega? Fans can’t get enough! Out of literally hundreds of watches featured in Feldmar’s Hot Lists, the green Seamaster generated more waves than any other, save for two. When Omega announced the green dial Seamaster back in March, the phones at Feldmar started ringing off the hook! With all the features that make the Seamaster great, this special green variant makes for an eye-catching update!

#2 – Zenith Chronomaster Sport

The Chronomaster Sport is a classic for good reason – with unparalleled accuracy and unbeatable styling, it’s no wonder these are some of the most sought after watches at Feldmar and the second-most “buzzy” from all our Hot Lists. This amazing gold variant arrived several months ago and after we finished picking our jaws up off the floor, we managed to get some up-close shots of the Zenith Chronomaster Sport in all it’s rose gold glory. Is this the definition of “luxury sports watch”? We think so.

And finally… the most buzz-worthy watch from 100 Feldmar Hot Lists! When it comes to the new Speedmaster ’57 line from Omega, it’s a tight race for best dial. But getting up close and personal with the green variant has got us” pining” for more! After announcing the new Speedmaster ’57 in March, these retro-styled, multi-color beauties from Omega have started to arrive in the store and fans can’t get enough!
