Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi® Limited Edition
While the Rolex GMT-Master I and II have often been colloquially referred to as Pepsi watches due to their bezel colors, it took the masterminds at Seiko to make it official. Seiko’s 5 Sports watches and Pepsi’s fizzy drinks may have evolved in totally different fields, but they share one common trait: they’re both beloved across generations. It’s that shared spirit that brought the first Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi collaboration to thrilling life. This Limited Edition timepiece was inspired by the heritage design of Seiko 5 Sports and the blue, white, and red colors of Pepsi logos from the 1990s. The 38mm stainless steel case has “Limited Edition” on the see-through screwed case back, along with an engraved serial number. The silver-toned white dial features white indexes framed in blue, and at the 6 o’clock position, the typeface from the 1990s Pepsi logo is faithfully reproduced. Finished with a stainless steel bracelet, the Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi blends the retro spirit of the 1990s with a design updated to suit today’s vibrant lifestyles.
Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi® Limited Edition
Another limited edition Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi collaboration that catapults the retro design of the original into the 21st century, with a bold, sleek and stylish blue, black, and red design motif, and an updated Pepsi logo at the 6 o’clock position. All the same features, with a larger 42.5mm stainless steel case and triple-time GMT functionality thanks to the 24-hour rehaute and red-blue bidirectional bezel. Ships with a black silicone strap that’s the perfect accompaniment. To paraphrase a famous Pepsi tagline, the Seiko 5 Sports x Pepsi is the watch choice of a new generation.
Seiko Prospex Sea SRPL81 Jaws 50th Anniversary Limited Edition
Dun dun…dun dun dun dun dun dun…the Prospex Jaws 50th Anniversary Limited Edition was designed for fans of the original summer blockbuster. Inspired by the iconic film, this timepiece takes Seiko’s “Turtle” case shape and turns it into something much more menacing. This is a highly collectible limited edition available in a controlled-production run of only 5,000, with serial number and an image of the Orca, the boat made famous by the film, and a shark’s dorsal fin, engraved on each screwdown case back. A blue and white ombre dial pattern depicts a memorable scene from the film, along with the Jaws title logo at the 6 o’clock position. The 45mm stainless steel case features a stainless steel bezel with ceramic insert, and unidirectional rotating bezel with Seiko’s patented Lumibrite for time-telling in the darkest waters. And just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water… it is with this watch, with water resistance to 200 meters.
Seiko 5 Sports x Rowing Blazers SRPJ61
When the world-class watch designers of Seiko collaborate with the playful, street-smart style-makers of New York based clothing brand Rowing Blazers, you can expect fireworks, and that’s just what you get with the watches of the Seiko 5 Sports x Rowing Blazers limited edition collection. Like each timepiece in this collection, this model features bold colors, in this case a vibrant blue dial, and unique dial details, including a “red striped” seconds hand, wedge-shaped applied indices, and the Rowing Blazers logo at 6 o’clock. The 40mm stainless steel case has an engraved crown, and transparent case back emblazoned with one of Rowing Blazers’ signature motifs, “Tempus Fugit”, as a reminder that time flies. Paired with a stainless steel bracelet, and an extra, complementary red and yellow nylon strap. Shipped in a special collector’s tin in Rowing Blazers’ signature zig-zag pattern.
Seiko 5 Sports x Mooneyes
Mooneyes began in Southern California as a company producing and selling parts for race cars, then made its way to Japan, continuing to sell parts while also celebrating American hot rod culture. This collaboration between Seiko and Mooneyes is a pure distillation of that culture. Seiko’s stainless steel SKX-style case (which even at 42.5mm mysteriously manages to fit almost every wrist) contains a dial that boldly incorporates yellow, the symbolic color of Mooneyes, and the logo mark, printed transparently on the entire surface of the dial, is designed with a sense of playfulness. The bezel features a design specifically derived from car racing, printed from the back side of the transparent acrylic material to create a glossy finish that emulates clear automotive paint. The case back is decorated with an eye-catching logo mark, and the movement can be seen through the translucent yellow glass. For those who enjoy customizing their watches (and hotrodders who live for customization), a yellow and black striped nylon strap with the Mooneyes logo is included with the stainless steel bracelet.
